Melvin Jordan
General Manager - North Little Rock
I started working in hardwoods right after my military career October 1999. During the next ten years I got involved in the flooring industry. In January 2009, Forest to Floors opened up in Memphis and I was the first salesman hired. In my spare time I’m a member of the American Legion, where I really enjoy helping out veterans. My hobbies are basketball and spending quality time with my family.
Palmer Brown
Outside Sales
Palmer spent 25 years working for a manufacturer of new construction windows. He was regional sales manager covering the Midwest region of the country calling on wholesale building supply companies. He has been at Forest to Floor since 2010 as an outside sales representative.
Nick Wade
Outside Sales Manager - Northern Region
Nick Wade is our north region outside sales manger. Nick enjoys working with floor retailers to find out what their customers need are. He serves the North Arkansas area. He was born and raised in Central Arkansas. Nick enjoys spending time with his family and dogs. If Nick isn't working, he's at the lake, hunting, watching Razorback football, or at the ball park watching his son playing baseball.
Lisa Kiddy
Office Manager
Lisa Kiddy is the Office Manager for Forest To Floor. Her responsibilities encompass many aspects of our business, including AP/AR, billing, and customer service. Her incredible organization skills keep our team running smoothly. Prior to Forest To Floor, Lisa worked in the Truck Leasing Industry with over 20 years of office management experience.
In her spare time, Lisa enjoys watching Memphis Tigers sports and spending time with her three grandchildren Emma Kate, Seth and Joseph.
Doug Capps
Outside Sales
Doug started working as an apprentice electrician in 1975 and stayed in this field until honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in 1982. Continued to apply this knowledge when he was a maintenance mechanic for J.T. Shannon Lumber Company. At J.T. Shannon Lumber and Shamrock Plank Flooring Doug also worked as General Manager, Plant Manager, and Maintenance Manager. Since November of 2010 Doug has been an outside Sales person for Forest to Floor working with custom cabinet shops and Retail flooring stores in Arkansas, West Tennessee, and North Mississippi. Doug enjoys canoeing and camping river trips, golfing, and playing guitar in local bands in the Memphis area.
Michelle Charles
Sales - Memphis
Inside Sales for Forest to Floor, Michelle Charles started in the flooring business in 1998 at her family’s retail location in Horn Lake MS. There she worked in every aspect of the floor covering business. This included working with designers, builders and retail customers. She was involved with many residential and commercial projects, such as Desoto Civic Center and The Liberty Bowl. In 2010 she went to work at a local flooring distributor as a Purchasing agent. Michelle is a people person and enjoys having conversations with our Forest to floor customer’s regarding their business and jobs they are working. She has gained a vast amount of knowledge through installers. In her free time Michelle and her husband of 23 years, Chris are involved in their community. In which they both were raised. They volunteer in Youth sport’s program’s and participate with the Volunteer Northwest Mississippi. Michelle’s most supported charity is “Out of the Darkness” which brings awareness about depression and suicide. She also loves spending time with her family and especially her two grandchildren.
